Krillion-style multiplayer, free
Rare-answer trivia is even better against other people. Hopdown lets you play live, in real time, against random players or your friends. Everyone answers the same prompt, and the rarest correct answer wins the round. It's free and runs in any browser.
How a multiplayer game works
- Same prompt for everyone: "Name a dinosaur," "Name a Beatles song" and so on.
- Rarest answer wins: a correct answer few people give beats a common one, and speed breaks ties.
- Lives: run out of time and you lose a life. The last player standing wins.
- Rating: every multiplayer game moves your rating, and the best players top the multiplayer leaderboard.
Play with friends or strangers
Tap Multiplayer on the home screen. Choose a random match to join players online right away, or create a private game and share the four-letter code. The host picks the timer, the difficulty, the topics and how many questions to play, up to unlimited.
Party mode for game night
Hosting in person? Put Hopdown on a TV or laptop and have everyone join from their phones. Up to 100 people can play, and duplicate answers cancel each other out, so the room has to think differently.
